Simple Recipe to reduce Cholesterol very quickly

Before dinner, mix the following in glass of warm water
  • 1 tsp Psyllium husk ( Many brands available)

Possible Side Effects of Psyllium


  • An allergic reaction (this is shown as difficulty in breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face)

  • chest pain

  • difficulty in swallowing (If you do not have a habit of gulping large amount of liquids, you may find Psyllium hard to swallow. Start with smaller amounts to get used to it)

  • severe abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting.

Care while consuming psyllium

  • Take psyllium with a full glass (at least 8 ounces) of cool water or another liquid. Taking psyllium without enough liquid may cause it to swell in the throat and cause choking.

  • If you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking psyllium, seek immediate medical attention.

  • It may be habit-forming if used too often or for too long. This can lead to damage of intestinal nerves or muscle tissues. Do not take psyllium for longer than directed on the label or prescribed by your doctor.
